JFGH Stands with Kansas City Community Following Tragic Shooting

Following the tragic shootings in the Kansas City Jewish community, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford expresses our sympathy and support. Robert K. Yass, Chair of the Board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford made the following statement:

“We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community in Kansas City following these horrific events, and we extend our condolences to the families of the victims. No community should have to face a situation such as this one. As we celebrate the holiday of Passover this evening, we can reflect on its themes and re-double our efforts to work toward building a world free of hatred in which all people are free to live their lives without the threat of terror.”
