Federation Kicks Off Annual Campaign with Visions 2017

WEST HARTFORD, CONN. (September 23, 2016) – More than 200 local philanthropists attended Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford’s Visions 2017 with Emmy Award winning comedy writer Alan Zweibel, held September 20 at The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford. The Federation’s largest annual men’s philanthropy event and part of the 2017 Annual Campaign, Visions raises resources for programs and initiatives that benefit 15,000 families in Greater Hartford and the Jewish community in Israel and 60 countries overseas.

More than 20 organizations sponsored Visions 2017, including Trifecta Environmental Associates Management, Inc.; Retirement Visions LLC; Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center; Simsbury Bank; Bank of America; Hartford Hospital; Pullman & Comley LLC; Webster Bank; Birken Manufacturing; CohnReznick; Jason Gutcheon - PBI; Hoffman Auto Group; the Judie and Coleman Levy Family; Marcus Insurance; NEFCO; Reid and Riege, P.C.; John Russo - Empower Retirement; the Connecticut Jewish Ledger; the Hartford Courant; The Perfect Promotion; and The Wise Old Dog.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford protects and enhances the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah (charity and social justice) and Torah (Jewish learning).
