David Yarus, Founder of JSwipe, to Speak on June 21 in Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CONN. (June 1, 2018) – Entrepreneur, influencer and marketing expert David Yarus will be the guest speaker at a professional networking happy hour starting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Upward Hartford, 20 Church Street, Hartford. Yarus will discuss how he turned his passion for connecting people into two multimillion-dollar digital marketing enterprises: JSwipe, a Jewish dating app nicknamed “the Jewish Tinder,” and mllnnl, an invitation-only digital marketing agency that helps brands reach young professionals.

Yarus has been profiled in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, The Forward and The Jewish Chronicle. His JSwipe startup was sold to Spark Networks SE – the parent company of JDate, Elite Singles, Christian Mingle and several other niche dating sites – for $7 million in 2015.

The happy hour is co-sponsored by the Greater Hartford Jewish Leadership Academy and the Jewish Professionals Network, an initiative of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. Complimentary kosher appetizers will be served, and a cash bar will be available. A Q&A with David Yarus will follow his remarks.
