What issues and forces divide the American Jewish and Muslim communities? What could unite them? Join us for an important dialogue with bestselling Israeli author and journalist Yossi Klein Halevi and Muslim American commentator Parvez Ahmed, Ph.D.
Yossi Klein Halevi is the author most recently of Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor, a heartfelt plea for peace and new dialogue based on common ground in faith, a senior fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and a frequent contributor to the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Times of Israel and many more.
Dr. Parvez Ahmed is a Professor of Finance at the University of North Florida, a Fulbright Scholar, and a former fellow of the Shalom Hartman Institute's Muslim Leadership Initiative. He contributes regularly to Huffington Post and has been published in the Miami Herald, The Times of Israel and many other papers.
Megan Clark Torrey, Chief Executive Officer of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut, will moderate the conversation, which will include a Q&A.
