The annual ceremony for Israel's Memorial Day honoring fallen soldiers and victims of terror.
“The greatest honor to be given to all the many dead, whose spirits are walking with us today, the anonymous and the other, is to stand before them and say that their shy voice is still being heard from the other side...” Yoram Kaniuk, Israeli writer
Pay respect to the incredibly brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country of Israel, as well as those who were victims to acts of terror. This year, when Israel is celebrating 70 years of independence, we will remember and honor all the souls who lost their lives and left us with their words. The ceremony will include songs and texts written by fallen soldiers, victims of terror and bereaved families.
After the ceremony there will be Shira Betzibur (sing-along), please join us.
In Israel it is customary to attend the ceremony in a white shirt.
Part of the Israel @ 70 celebration.
