"Under One Roof" Opening Reception

Under One Roof is a collective art experience displaying canvases from multiple community organizations that welcome strangers and offer help to others. The collaboration will unite many non-profit and religious organizations throughout Greater Hartford. This reception is open to the entire Greater Hartford community.  

Each organization invited will create a canvas depicting their interpretation of welcoming the stranger.  All panels will be hung in the Mandell JCC's Chase Family Gallery during the holiday of Sukkot.  The gallery will be turned into an indoor sukkah of sorts, which will remain up in the gallery from October 10 - 18, 2019. Each organization will be able to host events in the sukkah.
