The most significant site of the Holocaust, Auschwitz was not a single entity, but a complex of 48 concentration and extermination camps, at which one million Jews, and tens of thousands of others, were murdered. This groundbreaking exhibition brings together more than 700 original objects and 400 photographs from over 20 institutions and museums around the world. This program is co-sponsored by the Adult Education Committee, the Learning Center, Brotherhood, and Sisterhood. We will travel to New York City by coach bus and participate in a self-guided audio tour of this powerful exhibit. We will also hear a survivor’s testimony on this, the 81st anniversary of Kristallnacht. Participants can either bring a bag lunch or order a box lunch which will be delivered to the group before we depart for the museum. The group will eat lunch once we get on the bus to return home. Reservations are confirmed once you submit a check. Cost: $55 adults, $50 seniors, $25 7th graders; box lunch $20. Bus departs CBI at 7:00am.
