The story of Jennifer Dulos and too many others like hers have captivated the public’s attention, but little has been shared about what can we do to prevent domestic violence. The public is invited to attend this important forum on domestic violence and learn how the Jewish Community, partnering with community resources, can help prevent domestic violence and support its victims. State Rep. Jillian Gilchrest and Author Monique Faison Ross will be a part of the panel. A $10 suggested donation which will go to Interval House. RSVP to CBIAdvocacy@gmail.com by March 8. This event is sponsored by the Sisterhood and the Social Justice Coordinating Committee of Congregation Beth Israel, the Adult Education Committee of Emanuel Synagogue and the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
