"Spill the Tea" Women's Discussion on Managing Stress around the Holidays
The winter holidays are a stressful time for almost everyone; we may see too much or too little of our families, and personal loss can hit us especially hard. Join Federation's Women of Impact on Thursday, November 8 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the home of Monica Hoffman, 59 Old Oak Road, West Hartford, for a "Spill the Tea" discussion on holiday stress and how to handle it constructively. Local mom and psychologist Janel Swaye MacDermott, Psy.D., will serve as our facilitator. This program is co-sponsored by Jewish Family Services Tara's Closet. Please bring along a new or used fall or winter clothing item (any size and gender; hangers preferred; no undergarments, shoes or socks) to donate! RSVP by November 1 to Simone Singh.
PS - Be sure to save the date for our next two Spill the Tea discussions on January 29 and March 26!
