Director: Lola Doillon
In 1943, Fanny Ben-Ami and her sisters were sent by their parents from France to an Italian foster home for Jewish children. When the Nazis arrived in Italy, a plan was devised to transport the children in small groups to Switzerland. As the escape plans got underway, 11 children were suddenly on their own with the impossible goal of reaching the Swiss border and ultimately safety. In this true story of bravery, strength and perseverance, Fanny will stop at nothing to survive.
