Pajama Havdalah from Home
Join Rabbi Andi Fliegel from Congregation Beth Israel, PJ Library coordinator Susan Lentini, and Director of Jewish Life at the Mandell JCC, Jane Pasternak for a fun filled, hands-on Havdalah program.
We say goodbye to Shabbat when three stars appear in the on Saturday evening sky.
In this simple multi-sensory ceremony, with blessings over lights, wine or grape juice, and spices, Havdalah is an inspiring way to end Shabbat and start the new week as a family. You can even wear your pajamas!
Whether this is your first Havdalah or a ritual you already love, we are looking forward to having you celebrate with us.
Please RSVP to Jane at jpasternak@mandelljcc.org by February 11.
We will then send you ideas to get ready, DIY activities, blessings, and the Zoom link.
This program is designed for families with young children, and is free and open to all.
