It’s been 12 years since the world’s first entirely digital currency was launched - and Bitcoin and its competitors have captivated speculators and puzzled more risk-averse investors ever since. Will cryptocurrency’s promise of faster payments and lower fees upend banking as we know it? Or is it a flash in the pan, similar to the tulip mania that shocked the Dutch economy in 1637? In this program, we’ll look at the pros and cons of cryptocurrency and what it means for the average investor.

About the Speakers
Bryan Bodner is a part of BlockFi’s Private Client team, serving the wealth management needs of high net worth individuals and single- and multi-family offices. Prior to BlockFi, Bryan worked at Blocktown Capital, where he contributed to investment research involving digital currencies, protocol tokens, and other blockchain ventures.
Kent Shepherd, CFA, CIC is senior vice president and senior client portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. Kent has over 30 years of industry experience, including portfolio management roles with various asset class investment teams within the firm.
