This workshop is designed to benefit anyone, regardless of experience level, who serves on the board of a synagogue or other Jewish nonprofit. The evening will provide the building blocks needed to succeed and propel your community organization forward.
Program Objectives:
- Outline the role of the board
- Explore the primary roles and responsibilities of board members
- Discuss common board member expections
- Clarity governance vs. management
- Learn how to foster successful lay/partner relationships
- Brainstorm potential board member challenges and solutions
- Articulate your board goals
About the speaker: Nanette Fridman helps organizational leaders plan for success and solve challenges. Known for her good humor and high energy, Nanette is a frequent keynote speaker, workshop presenter, trainer and facilitator.
