Join FVJC to read the names of those who perished in the Holocaust
This year, the evening of April 23 marks the start of Yom HaShoah, the day
that we remember the Holocaust. It’s been over seventy years since Nazi
concentration camps were liberated, and the Holocaust that claimed 6,000,000
Jewish lives came to an end.
To ensure that the six million did not die in vain, and that the Holocaust never
happens again, the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation Emek Shalom
Men’s Club will again be sponsoring the Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle
ProgramTM.
Please join our congregation this year as we commemorate Yom HaShoah
with members of other faith communities in Simsbury, by publicly
reading the names of those who perished in the Holocaust over a 24-hour
period from Sunday, April 23 at 6:00 pm until Monday, April 24 at 6:00 pm at
Eno Memorial Hall in Simsbury.
Dates: Sunday, April 23 at 6:00 pm - Monday, April 24 at 6:00 pm
Where: Eno Memorial Hall in Simsbury, 754 Hopmeadow St
