Join the Jewish Historical Society for a presentation by Morton Katz, who served as a paratrooper in World War II. He earned his law degree under the GI Bill and became a public defender in Hartford. Because he was born on Straw Hat Day (May 15, 1919), that and a bow tie became his signature court attire. Hear reflections from this 104-year-old author whose life and career have spanned two centuries, several wars and enormous changes.

Light refreshments provided.
