COMMUNITY BOARD MEMBER ORIENTATION
Join us on October 7th at 6:30 for a Community Board Member Orientation with Nanette Fridman. Nanette will review the fundamentals and well as the intricacies of being the most effective board member you can be. Free & open to all board members of Jewish agencies and synagogues in the Greater Hartford area.

- To understand the importance and purpose of boards
- Discuss the roles, responsibilities and expectations of boards and board members
- Clarity the difference between governance and management
- Explore how staff and board members can best work together
- Understand the purpose of committees and how to set them up for success
