Join us for an official “Carlebach Kabbalat Shabbat service” led by Neshama Carlebach, daughter of the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, a master and popular composer of Jewish melodies and song. Neshama will join our clergy in leading a spirited and spiritual service that will also feature our Religious School students. Community Dinner follows for those who RSVP in advance.
Like her father, Neshama’s talent and charisma captivate and endear her to people of all ages and backgrounds. She has performed and taught in cities worldwide, has sung on the Broadway stage, and has sold more than one million records.
The Neshama Carlebach Artist-in-Residence weekend is funded by the Gloria Goldenberg z”l Music & Lecture Series Endowment at Beth El Temple.
