What is this event? During the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, it is tradition to have and shake a Lulav and Etrog. Now that the holiday is past us, let's upcycle etrogs! Etrogs are also known as a citron, they are one of the many special aspects of Sukkot. The etrog is typically shaken, along with the lulav in the Sukkah.
What will we be making? There will be two options: candied etrog or etrog infused vodka.
Can I bring my own etrog? Yes, in fact, I encourage it! Please ask your friends and family for leftover etrogs from the holiday. Let's avoid food waste and upcycle etrogs into a tasty treat together. The more etrogs the merrier!
When is this event? Wednesday, October 22nd from 6:30-8:30pm
Where is this event? Hosted in a Private Residence. Address to be shared once you RSVP.
Will there be food? Light kosher pareve bites will be served
