Each year, the URJ honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by commemorating the Shabbat nearest MLK Day as Shabbat Tzedek. Tzedek means justice. We are excited to announce musician and educator, Marni Loffman will be joining Rabbi Bekah Goldman for this service

Marni (they/them) is an educator and music-maker currently finishing a Master’s in Peacebuilding at Hartford International University. Marni has explored different styles of Jewish music, and engaged in continual learning about social issues in their communities and abroad. They recently started a Jewish music TikTok page which within under a year has attracted more than 10K followers who connect to their music.
