The Mental Health and Addiction Initiative (MHAI) of Congregation Beth Israel will host a talk on trauma, anxiety and resilience in today’s Jewish Community.

We will begin with a presentation by Jennifer Honen, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is an expert on this topic. She works with individuals navigating a range of concerns including anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She will also present strategies that support resilience for people coping with these problems.

The second part of the program will be a group dialogue about how this knowledge and these techniques may be applied to our personal challenges. Please join us for this informative presentation which will include a discussion of how trauma impacts our lives and information on skills to manage our thoughts and behaviors.
