The Summer Music Series at Congregation Beth Israel continues on July 24 at 7 pm with "The Zookeeper's Wife." This true story drama opens in the Warsaw Zoo in 1939, flourishing under the stewardship of Jan and Antonina Zabinski. When Poland is invaded by the Nazis, Jan and Antonina are forced to report to the Reich's newly-appointed chief zoologist. The Zabinskis begin working with the Resistance and put plans into action to save the lives of hundreds from what has become the Warsaw ghetto. $10 includes beer/wine and refreshments.
