A deeply traditional and radically progressive advocate for trans rights and a vocal ally for LGBTQ+ inclusivity, he received three Ultra-Orthodox ordinations while learning in the Mir in Jerusalem and in Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ.
