In ANTISEMITISM, AN AMERICAN TRADITION, scholar Pamela S. Nadell investigates the dark history of how this hate threaded across the American past from colonial times to today. She explores how Jews fought antisemitism through the law and by creating organizations to speak for them. Jews would also fight back with their fists or join with allies in fighting all types of hate. Already acclaimed as “the book that the world needs now.” Professor Nadell also testified before Congress on the history of antisemitism and the US National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism on December 5, 2023.
