Please join us for a panel discussion with author Liliane Willens to mark the opening of the exhibit "Jewish Refugees in Shanghai" in the Chase Family Gallery at the Mandell Jewish Community Center. 

This exhibit brings alive the inspiring narrative of Jewish refugees escaping the horrific specter of Nazi atrocities in the years before and during WWII, and finding refuge and the welcoming hand of Chinese friendship in Shanghai. This history must not be lost to future generations, who must heed its profound lesson: the practical expression and realization of our common humanity.
