The first in a series featuring area synagogues, this tour will highlight the history and architecture of Congregation Beth Israel, Hartford's oldest Jewish congregation. Beth Israel received a West Hartford Historic Preservation award in 2006 for the meticulous restoration of the synagogue, built in 1935.
