Freedom Seder 2027: The Promised Jam

Imagine a Passover Seder experience that blends the richness of Jewish tradition with the spirit and energy of a live music gathering. Inspired by the beloved Passover Seders hosted by Phil Lesh and Terrapin Family Band, this evening is designed to be warm, participatory, soulful, and joyful. Rather than a formal seder, it is an intimate community celebration where guests gather around tables to share the Passover story, enjoy a delicious kosher meal, sing together, and hear inspiring teachings they can bring back to their own Passover seders the following week. Community leaders will share meaningful content related to the steps of the Seder during Freedom Seder 2027 before Passover begins. As the evening unfolds, the celebration transitions into an uplifting live music experience that brings the themes of freedom, community, and joy to life. Freedom Seder 2027 is an authentic, welcoming experience unlike anything currently offered in the Greater Hartford Jewish community, a unique evening that weaves together tradition, learning, connection, and music in a way that appeals to people across generations and backgrounds.
