Lauren Steinberg serves as Managing Director of Campus & K-12 Engagement and Strategic Initiatives for the Jewish Federations of North America. In this role, she works to combat antisemitism; ensure accurate, positive education and understanding on Jews, Judaism, Israel and Zionism; build national and local relationships and coalitions; and support Federations’ broader community relations strategies and Jewish community empowerment. Lauren also engages with students directly at Yale University, where she and her husband have served as the JLIC rabbinic couple since 2018. She previously served as Director of the Stamford, New Canaan and Darien Jewish Community Relations Council, and worked for the Anti-Defamation League in its Center on Extremism and New York Regional Office. Lauren lives in New Haven, CT with her husband and three children.
