Jewish Federations welcome news of the first phase of the deal between Israel and Hamas that President Trump announced, to return all the remaining hostages home and end the war.

The attacks of October 7th, 2023 and the explosion of global antisemitism that followed shook the Jewish community to its core. Throughout, we have witnessed the incredible resilience of both the Israeli people and our Jewish community here at home.

As we await details and look forward to the deal’s full implementation and the return of every last hostage home after a two-year nightmare, we look forward to a new era of healing, recovery, and rebuilding.
