When we say tikkun olam, the repair of the world, we mean the whole world – not just the Jewish one. The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford takes a hands-on approach in promoting economic, political and social justice for all.

We do so through active advocacy with local government, safeguarding the civil rights of our local community while maintaining our commitment to the sanctity of Israel as a sovereign state and the wellbeing of Jews throughout the world.

Federation reaches across the lines drawn by faith and background to build alliances with our neighbors and to find the common ground on which we can create a solid future for all our children. We have a proud tradition as builders of community, strengthening the ties that bind all humanity so that everyone thrives.
