Seeds of Caring/Dorot

“Whoever teaches his child teaches not only his child but also his child’s child, and so on to the end of generations.”  ~Talmud

Designed to educate our children on the importance of tzedakah and encourage giving in their own names at an early age, Seeds of Caring: The Dorot Society connects generation to generation (dorot).

We invite you to give your son, daughter, niece, nephew, grandchild or friend the gift of mitzvah: something that will link that child with other Jewish children around the world.

A child's gift of $18 or more to the Annual Campaign will entitle a child to the following:

  • Invitations to special children's educational events;
  • The child's name listed prominently in the Federation’s Roll of Honor under the Seeds of Caring: The Dorot Society; and
  • A membership certificate for your child to keep.

The money raised through this program will support Jewish children around the world.

Help children pave the way to a strong Jewish future by planting the seeds of caring early and making them members of the Seeds of Caring: The Dorot Society.
